Operating under the name, Thuggee Tennessee, I am primarily a songwriter and guitar player, I play to the song, and boringly,  with minimal effects.  A solo performer, I may be occasionally joined by other players.  Flexibility is my key, and I can prepare sets for gigs in a certain way as required(eg; loud/soft).  What you will hear are songs about loneliness, isolation, insanity, murder (and by extension, death!), redemption, vengeance, the testing of faith, and 'what lies beyond'...... Amidst those, some straight up alt-country stuff, often with Oz references; more than a touch of Americana, and doses of sly, dark, humour.  Plenty of original compositions too, dealing with Australian themes.... not to mention a tidbit of psychedelia

 These days I'm primarily about promoting my own music.  If I had to put a label on it, I'd say most of my gig material is an alt-cowboy/folk genre, with undertones of Americana.  There's plenty of up-tempo stuff, but it's maybe not 'dance music' ... if you get my drift.

My songs are the type of material which would suit smaller country gigs, pub/clubs, and the like....
